The Marseille Rare Diseases Institute (MarMaRa)

To generate knowledge about rare diseases, their biology laboratories interact with those in physics, human and social sciences, bioinformatics and mathematics. Only 5% of people suffering from a rare disease have a treatment. The challenge is to make progress. To this end, they are strengthening links between academic, medical and industrial research.
