Episode 6 features Manon Pujol, a former doctoral student at the Institut des Sciences Moléculaires de Marseille (iSm2, AMU/CNRS), who defended her thesis in March 2023.
In this sixth issue of Vis ma chimie, Fannie Le Floch, a young chemist from the Société Chimique de France's Jeunes network, interviews another young chemist, Manon Pujol. Specializing in metalloenzyme engineering, biocatalysis, science popularization, women in science, autism... These are just some of the keywords that characterize the career of Manon Pujol, winner of the SCF 2022 Young Student Award.
In this podcast, Manon talks about her studies and the difficulties she had to face, as an autistic person, to enter the world of public research. She shares how this difference does not make her less of a scientist and, on the contrary, can be a strength for research.
