For over twenty years, the Souk des sciences has been reaching out to local residents in the markets, shopping centers and streets of the Southern Region. At this ephemeral science market, ideas and knowledge are exchanged, remaining true to the idea of its creator Hassane Bitar: "If the general public doesn't have the time, doesn't have the money, is afraid to push open the door to knowledge and seek out science, it's science that goes out to meet them! Through photos, testimonials, anecdotes and illustrations, a booklet tells the story of Aix Marseille Université's scientific culture adventure.
Discover below, in digital format, the booklet specially designed to mark the 20th anniversary of the Souk des sciences. Created by the scientific culture unit of Aix Marseille Université's Research and Development Department, it was illustrated by Macha Bellinghery.
